Enter Matisse’s work and life

In a Genoese villa of the 17th century, entirely renovated, a monographic museum allowing to follow the artistic evolution of the painter who lived in Nice from 1917 until his death in 1954. The interest of the collection lies in the panorama it offers from the first paintings, from 1890 to the gouache papers of the end of Matisse’s life, and in the presentation of all the techniques of expression of the artist.

Opening: every day except Tuesday. From 10am to 5pm from November 1st to April 30th and from 10am to 6pm from May 2nd to October 31st
